Ok so let me get straight to the point...
Being in a relationship is NOT so much important, especially when your relationship has no purpose. I get it! It feels good to have that someone right? Sister, if that someone isn't following God then honey you're in the wrong relationship, (I had to learn that). You cannot be one place and he's the other place, both of you need to be on the same page. That man can't love you if he doesn't love God. That man can't love/lead you if all he is doing is leading you to his bedroom all the time. And who is to blame? You are! Love waits until marriage...
1John 14:15 "If you love me obey my commandments".
You can't glorify God if you're not obeying His commandments. Your relationship with God won't ever line up if that's what you're hoping for... Stop giving yourself to these random guys who doesn't even want to marry you, who doesn't even see a future with you. Oh, he says he does but is He showing it? If he was, he would lead you to Christ and not his bed. Know the difference between LOVE and LUST!! Serve God not MAN!!
It's time to learn to tell your emotions to "shhh". I get it! You wanna cuddle, kiss, and spend a lot of time together but honestly you have to tell your emotions to shut up. Set your standards with those randoms and obey God. Love God more than you love that guy. Truth be told, there is no relationship that is more important than your relationship with God. So stop putting so much time and effort into these random guys. Its time to put God first! The only way your relationship with God will ever be able to line up is if you Serve Him, spend time with Him daily, apply His word to your life, appreciate Him more and do what He requires you to do. God will bless you with the right guy at the right time. Put your heart into Christ and Christ alone. When you stay connected to God, you won't want to sin....So if that guy isn't leading you to Christ--- LEAVE!! You will benefit NOTHING if you're in a relationship with someone who is not following God.
Do not give into temptation, overcome them. 1Corinthians 10:13 "The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. God is faithful, He will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. He will provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it".
I encourage you to put God first at all times. Seek Him and allow Him to direct the right guy to you. Guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23)..... Let it be just you and God from now on. Be Encouraged Sister...
